Welcome to Pale & Interesting. Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. All prices and values on this web site are in UK Pounds Sterling and including VAT. We accept credit card payment by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo. When a confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you notice that your order has ben shipped. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Standard delivery

£8.95 for order up to 3 kilograms in weight. Orders from 3 to 10 Kilograms will be charged at the bulk carriage rate of £20.

Overseas Orders

We are able to send orders overseas but delivery charges will be priced individually. Please contact us if you would like to get quote on delivery charges overseas.

Stock Availability

Please note that whilst we make every effort to ensure that the items listed on the site are available, on rare occasions (such as clearance sales), stock advertised on the site may sell out before it can be removed. We will off course inform you as soon as possible when such instances occur.

Providing all items in your order are in stock, we aim to dispatch your goods as quickly as possible (usually within 24-48 hours of receipt of your order), but please allow 14 days for delivery.

If items are out-of-stock we will notify you by email. Delivery of out-of-stock items may take up to 6 weeks.

Please note that we never take payment for an order until the day it is shipped to you. However, your debit (or credit) card provider may well debit your account on the day you place your order, to guarantee their payment authorisation to us. If you have any queries, please contact your debit or credit card provider.

Furniture Delivery Disclaimer

Pale & Interesting offer a home delivery service. We will deliver larger items such as furniture to your home. To save you money we only price for the cost of one delivery person, but certain larger items will need an extra pair of hands, so someone able will need to be available when we deliver. It is essential that items will pass freely through doorways. Please ensure that you read the “Measurements” section below in order to understand your responsibilities before ordering any of our items.

Measurements

When ordering furniture from Pale & Interesting, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure any furniture purchased will fit freely through doorways. You will also need to measure passageways, such as halls and stairs, awkward corners or turns.

Our products have clear height, width and depth measurements which are displayed in this order on our website. If upon delivery your furniture does not fit, we will be unable to refund your postage, and the return fee will be deducted from any refunds we make to you.

Privacy

To protect both your privacy and internet security, our website uses PayPal pro to provide secure, reliable payment connections. Pale & Interesting will not disclose your details to third parties. We will add your name and address to our mailing list to keep you informed about the status of your order and to let you know about special offers, new products or sales. Please let us know if you do not want to be on our mailing list. As all of our transactions are carried out through Paypal, Pale & Interesting will not store any customer financial details.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

You are entitled to a full refund on any item within 14 days of purchase, providing that the packaging and the goods themselves remain intact. Up to 28 days after your purchase, we can offer you an exchange or credit note. We will only refund the value of items returned and not the original delivery charge.
